Senate debate on the first truly comprehensive global warming bill -- known as the Climate Security Act (S. 3036) -- is underway. Lawmakers are poised to take an important step to protect polar bears and other wildlife threatened by global warming.

But an amendment proposed by Senator Corker (R-TN) would eliminate the vitally important funding in the bill to help wildlife survive a changing climate.

Urge your Senators to oppose the Corker amendment and strengthen and pass the Climate Security Act (S. 3036).
