Nonviolent peaceful protest should never be met with violent repression.
Today, RAN need your help to ensure that some of our closest allies are safe as they protest tomorrow (Wednesday) at a Cargill facility in San Pedro, Paraguay.

These allies -- members of the Inter-District Assembly for Sovereignty in San Pedro -- have called for a major protest against soy expansion in Paraguay. More than 1,500 campesino and Indigenous people are mobilizing tomorrow outside a Cargill soy silo to defend their land rights and food sovereignty.

In Paraguay, the use of state-sanctioned violence and repression is common in attempting to silence campesino and Indigneous movements. Agribusiness giants, like Cargill, benefit from this practice.

Please email Paraguayan officials and Cargill executives today!
