** Gay Men's Health Crisis **
More than a million people are now living with HIV/AIDS in the United States. Half of those people are not in care. Another person is infected every 13 minutes. Infection rates have not fallen in more than 15 years. Clearly we need a plan.

While the U.S. requires other countries to come up with a National AIDS Strategy in order to receive our funding, we lack one of our own. Tell your Members of Congress to support a National AIDS Strategy today.

Repulsive Republican Pigs are in a panic about their chances this election year. And they're pulling out all the stops to keep voters away from the polls.

Their favorite vote-suppressing tactic of 2008? State laws requiring government-issued photo ID in order to vote.

Good thing we have champions in the states like Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, who just yesterday vetoed a harmful voter ID law in that state correctly noting that it would "only work to disenfranchise many of the electorate and serve as a barrier to their participation in the democratic process."

And thanks to champions like Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, who worked tirelessly with voting rights advocates in Missouri to urge the legislature not to pass the voter ID bill it was considering. On Friday, defying previously-held expectations, that bill went down with the end of the legislative session.

Voters in every state deserve leaders like Gov. Sebelius and Secretary of State Carnahan who will stand up for their rights.

Please sign our petition right now urging YOUR secretary of state to fight burdensome voter ID laws in your state.

** Securing America **
Senator Jim Webb's New GI Bill, which would give our returning soldiers the education benefits they need, is up for a Senate vote this week. We're so close to reaching that critical 60-vote majority to overcome unprecedented filibusters and the opposition of President Bush and John McCain, but we need your help. That's why VoteVets has just released a TV ad demanding that John McCain do the right thing and vote for the New GI Bill.

Click here to watch the new VoteVets ad that is airing across the country. Then email your Senators, demanding that they provide our troops with the education they deserve today!
