Campaign Money Watch produced the following ad detailing Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) involvement in the Keating Five scandal and, 20 years later, his campaign manager's receipt of undisclosed payments from Freddie Mac.



McCain and Keating Five: Relevant Today?

Twenty years ago, John McCain was at the senter of a huge ethical and financial mess called the Keating Five scandal. Now, in the midst of the mortgage and economic crisis, we learn that the lobbying firm McCain's campaign manager was taking $15,000 a month to do nothing but apparently provide access to McCain if he's elected. Help us tell John McCain that to clean up Wall Street, we have to pass real campaign finance reform.
