America is in need of real leadership to reinvigorate our economy, move toward cleaner sources of energy and confront global warming. The good news is that President-elect Obama has indicated that he is poised and ready to create a comprehensive package that will simultaneously address our climate, energy and economic problems.
Last month, in front of more than 600 climate change leaders, President-elect Obama acknowledged the magnitude of the issue by saying, "Few challenges facing America -- and the world -- are more urgent than combating climate change." He also promised to reverse the past eight years of inaction by setting mandatory limits on global warming pollution when he takes office.
At this critical turning point, Americans must demonstrate support for President-elect Obama's promises and call on him to turn these promises into a plan within the first 100 days of his presidency.
Send a message urging President-elect Obama to announce a plan during his first hundred days in office that will achieve real goals of moving America toward a clean energy future.
